Ihr habt eine Band und möchtet auf metal.de erwähnt werden? Kein Problem! Beachtet bitte folgende Punkte:

• Schickt euer Material (CD in einfacher Ausführung und Infozettel inkl. Kontaktdaten) an die eben erwähnte Redaktionsanschrift.

• WICHTIG: Sendet uns keine Einschreiben! Diese können nicht mehr angenommen werden!
  Bitte beachtet: Aufgrund des hohen Aufkommens an Promo-Einsendungen rezensieren wir ausschließlich aktuelles Material. Bitte sendet uns nichts, dessen Veröffentlichungsdatum länger als einen Monat zurück liegt.

• Wir rezensieren nicht anhand von Downloadlinks außerhalb von Bemusterungsportalen wie Ipool, Haulix usw., sofern wir keine anders lautende Abmachung getroffen haben.

• Aus Kapazitätsgründen rezensieren wir in der Regel kein Material mehr aus den Bereichen Rock, Alternative, Punk, Hardcore, Pop, Blues, Country und Elektro. Bitte verzichtet auf eine Bemusterung mit diesen Genres.

• Aus Kapazitätsgründen können wir nicht jede eingesendete Promo rezensieren. Bitte beachtet, dass wir keine Nachfragen zu eingesendeten Promos beantworten können. Haben wir die CD ausgewählt, dauert es in der Regel vier bis fünf Wochen, bis Euer Material rezensiert ist.

• Wenn Ihr eine E-Mailadresse angebt, werdet Ihr benachrichtigt, sobald das Review online geht. Rückfragen per E-Mail beantworten wir nur, wenn sich die Frage nicht mit den obigen Punkten beantworten lässt.

• Wir behalten uns vor, zugesandtes Material nicht zu rezensieren, wenn die Inhalte des Materials und/oder die Ansichten der/des Künstlers nicht mit unserer Einstellung vereinbar sind.

Richtet Eure Newsmeldungen bitte direkt an news[at]metal.de. Wir werden sie auf Relevanz prüfen und ggf. veröffentlichen.

ENGLISH: Submitting promotional material

 

You’re playing in a band and want to have your stuff reviewed? Not a problem! Please keep the following in mind:

• Send your material (one CD plus info sheet including contact details) to the address mentioned above.

• IMPORTANT: Do not send your promos via registered mail, it will not be accepted anymore!

• PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high amount of promos we receive, we review current releases only. Please do not send your album if it has been released more than one month ago.

• We have to decline review requests based on download links not covered by online promo tools like Ipools, Haulix and the likes, unless separate terms have been negotiated and agreed on.

• Due to capacity issues we usually do not review any material from genres like rock, alternative, punk, hardcore, pop, blues, country and electronic music anymore. Please refrain from sending us promotional materials from these genres.

• Due to capacity issues, we cannot review any promo that we receive. Please also note that we cannot answer questions about promos you’ve sent. If we chose to review your material, it will normally take us four to five weeks until we publish the article.

• If you’ve provided us with an e-mail address on your info sheet you’ll be notified once the review is online.

• Kindly note that we’ll be answering questions via e-mail ONLY if they’ve not been answered already by one of the previously mentioned terms.

• We reserve the right to refuse reviewing submitted material if the submission and/or the attitude of the artist is in strong contradiction of the views of the magazine and what it stands for.
